How will you be rewarded:

Working in Madison, WI our Animal Technicians:

Work a rotating 1st shift including weekends, some holidays and some overtime. (Working hours 6:30 am-3:15 pm)

Enjoy 24 days of personal-time-off (PTO) (pro-rated depending on start date)

What will you be doing:

This entry level role requires no experience, just an interest in working with small and large animals in a laboratory setting. 

Maintaining the highest standards of animal care and welfare in accordance with the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International (AAALAC)

Performing daily cleaning, feeding of our laboratory animals

Providing environmental and dietary enrichment

Learning and applying proper handling and restraint techniques.

Working in a fast paced, team environment​

Preferred Experience:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Animal Care Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in handling animals.

Additional Related Experiences: Any other relevant animal experiences or certifications related to the position.

Work History: Proven track record of structured and reliable work.

Required Experience and Education:

Education Recommended (not required): High school diploma or equivalent.

No experience required.

Must be 18 years or older.

Must be able to speak, write, read English.

Overtime and weekend work as required
