Job Summary
The Annual Fund Manager will have primary responsibility for growing annual fund revenue and annual fund donor count year over year. The annual fund manager manages a donor portfolio and helps qualify prospective major donors. This person builds and grows an annual fund giving program to include appeals, campaigns, point of purchase retail roundups, phone-a-thons, electric and written appeals. The annual fund manager is responsible for a year-round fundraising campaign. This position oversees the donor database and donor acknowledgements, helps establish and implement data-entry policies and procedures to ensure data consistency and quality, and leads efforts to develop philanthropic strategies. They will provide statistical reports and analysis. The annual fund manager must be able to develop annual fund campaign tactics, projections, and evaluation of success via reports shared with Foundation leadership. The Annual Fund Manager will serve as a member of the Operations team and will design and implement a comprehensive, effective Novant Health Annual Fund which provides the initial opportunity for early or first-time donors to invest in the mission and work of Novant Health Foundations.

Qualifications
+ Education: Bachelor’s Degree, required.
+ Experience: Seven years of Relative Philanthropy experience, required
+ Additional Skills Required:
+ Experience in a professional environment. Ability to develop presentations and share them in front of an audience.
+ Willing to present annual fund to internal NH groups and external to NH groups.
+ Proven experience in database entry, analysis, reporting and some project management.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
+ Preferred proficiency in SalesForce or similar donor software database.
+ Ability to initiate projects, be flexible, and work within a team environment.
+ Ability to prioritize appropriately when facing multiple responsibilities and tasks.
+ Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to write and deliver on deadline and to be able to proofread and edit your own content.
+ A passion for organization’s mission and cause.
+ High ethical standards, discretion, and confidentiality when working with donor information.
+ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with a team, instill confidence and trust with Novant Health team members and donors.
