Organizes, develops, and manages the foundation’s annual giving program consisting of direct response and multi-channel appeals focused on increasing philanthropic support while growing the base of the donor pipeline through acquisition, renewal, reactivation, and upgrade strategies. Ensures all annual giving data is consistently structured, organized, and maintained to support the needs and strategies of annual giving and philanthropy in general.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESLeads collaborative strategy development for annual giving initiatives, documenting and providing recommendations to leadership. Configures, supports, and maintains the Philanthropy CRM, Raiser’s Edge NXT, as well as other related applications, technology, and tools.Manages the information and data flow between the direct mail vendor and the foundation, including, the definition of audience segmentation and conditional text usage, direct mail programming instructions, data file transfers to and from the vendor, validation of programming, and validation of digital and printed proofs to ensure that the final direct mail piece(s) are accurately created and ready for distribution.Monitors progress of each annual giving initiative, providing comprehensive annual giving updates to foundation leadership that illustrate progress to goal, assesses the success of implemented strategies, identifies key strengths and areas for improvement. Leads collaborative cross team communication necessary to ensure that marketing plan cohesively supports the direct mail plan for multi-channel annual giving initiatives.Documents annual giving direct mail plans and manages the annual giving calendar.Serves as the primary point of contact for all annual giving direct mail vendors. Provides annual giving insight to the marketing team during annual collaborative patient story selection process ensuring that the needs of annual giving are met. Defines appropriate level of donor outreach for each multi-channel appeal.Manages the cultivation and stewardship for a subset of annual donors.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION
