The Home Stylist cultivates the overall service and selling culture in the store and drives brand metrics by developing authentic customer connections, offering expert styling advice, and providing an individualized experience with curated product recommendations. 

Role Responsibilities

Customer Experience

Contributes to upholding a service culture that demonstrates extraordinary service to cultivate an environment where all customers feel welcome, heard and valuedLeads by example in relationship building, styling, and networking with customers; educates the store team and the customer on the benefits of the home stylist role and programGenerates impromptu and formal appointment opportunities to cultivate customer relationships and drive key metricsAdvocates for technology usage and encourages the team to transact in the moment, upsell, and clientele

Teamwork + Mentorship 

Contributes to an inclusive environment by helping to amplify all voices, actively seeking and advocating different perspectivesIdentifies home styling knowledge gaps amongst the team and actions accordingly; facilitates regional and brand styling initiatives or trainingsUtilizes brand resources to share relevant home styling and product knowledge with the team to elevate associate confidence in servicing the home customer

Visual + Business Operations

Reviews store business to understand buying trends, influence home outfitting and selling decisions, and to drive home department businessTakes ownership of the furniture business by capitalizing on walk-in traffic and identifies business-driving opportunities through outreach and networking; actions opportunities in partnership with store leadership to drive incremental sales for the store and achieve company and outreach goalsPartners with visual team to execute seasonal updates for design center; upkeeps design center product standards and technologyUpholds accountability and productivity for part-time or full-time zoned Design Center hours; contributes to a customer-first philosophy and is flexible in supporting other areas when business dictates

Communication + Relationships  

Communicates customer insights and shopping patterns to the leadership team and styling team through regional or brand communication platformsCultivates productive relationships with leadership and selling team that contributes to a collaborative, customer-centric environment; maintains open communication to identify and act on business needs in the momentContributes to positive team morale through brand and store initiatives such as the SPARKED Journal, employee recognition, and team building activitiesCollaborates with store leadership in identifying and curating events and experiences that are reflective of the interests of the local customer and surrounding community to drive brand engagement Role Qualifications Anthro brand fan1+ years of retail leadership experienceExperience being a team playerAbility to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidaysEagerness to learn and grow within the organization The Perks

Pay Range Starting from USD $17.00/Hr. Anthropologie Wage Transparency
