Known for advising clients on high-profile antitrust matters, this team represents clients across industries in compliance, counseling, and enforcement actions. With lawyers who have held leadership positions at federal and state antitrust agencies, as well as within the European Commission and other international enforcement bodies, this practice is recognized among the “Global Elite” by Global Competition Review and other leading industry publications.
Candidate Profile:
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Active Bar Admission in D.C. 5+ years of substantive experience in antitrust law, specifically Hart-Scott-Rodino Act filing requirements, counseling, and compliance. Strong knowledge of U.S. antitrust enforcement policies and procedures; familiarity with international antitrust frameworks is a plus. Exceptional analytical, writing, and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on Hart-Scott-Rodino Act filing requirements, ensuring compliance with pre-merger notification rules and procedures. Provide strategic counseling on antitrust and competition law matters, including merger reviews, investigations, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with a global team of attorneys on cross-border antitrust matters, leveraging the firm’s resources and international expertise. Represent clients in investigations and proceedings before federal and state antitrust enforcement authorities.
