Your role will focus on client service administration, supporting the broking and client management activities of more senior team members. We have opportunities in the following teams, please use the information below to support your research: Client Service Delivery : + Overview: CSD sits within the London Global Broking Centre (GBC) Global Broking Centre: Bringing together deep subject matter expertise across a wide variety of industries and unrivalled access to global capacity, the London GBC works in partnership with Aon colleagues and clients around the world to deliver insight driven risk transfer advice, innovative placement solutions, proactive market insight and claims expertise that address some of the most challenging risks faced by a large and diverse global client base. Placing approximately $9.5bn of gross written premium per annum, the London GBC has a market leading role built on distinct capabilities. + CSD supports Broking teams within the London Global Broking centre – team of around 135 + Your role will include tasks such as slip production and reviews, liaising with Aon Brokers and external clients, query resolution and general reporting duties + CSD operates a right first time ethos to supporting our clients and brokers – adding value and supporting Aon’s clients Retail Broking Overview: We use Aon’s market leverage to negotiate terms directly with insurers, to obtain the best solution for our existing clients or prospects. We monitor the service provided by insurers and the volume/type of business placed. We also support the client service teams with strategy and complex issues relating to the market. What the day will look like + Supporting the delivery of client-facing transactional service activities + Assisting in the day-to-day running of client risk and insurance programmes + Contributing proactively to client satisfaction, retention and profitability + Carrying out administrative tasks contributing to the broking process + Inputting data accurately to maintain management information Reinsurance Solutions: Frequently, the scale of risks underwritten is too great for one insurer to carry safely. In these circumstances, companies use reinsurance to mitigate their own risk exposure. Specialist reinsurance companies take on part of the risk that insurers assume from their personal or commercial clients. They can do this by sharing the losses among several carriers in the event of a claim. For this service, the reinsurer is paid a share of the insurance premium in accordance with its level of participation in the risks . What your day could look like: + Supporting the delivery of client-facing transactional service activities + Assisting in the day-to-day running of client risk and insurance programmes + Contributing proactively to client satisfaction, retention and profitability + Carrying out administrative tasks contributing to the broking process + Inputting data accurately to maintain management information Your Development As an Aon Apprentice you will be enrolled onto our development programme when you join. This programme is built around 3 core elements : + Business learning – on the job learning and experiences giving you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding of the team and solution line you have joined + Centralised learning - UK apprentices complete in an Aon Induction, monthly webinars, business skills training and workshops; all designed to help you develop your knowledge of Aon, build your confidence and your network across our business + Professional Qualifications – we want you to be as successful as possible, so we’ll fully support your study towards your level 4 Insurance Apprenticeship and Certificate in Insurance (Chartered Insurance Institute) professional qualification. To support you as you study for your exams, you’ll receive paid study leave, plus an extensive range of study and tuition materials. Your career beyond your Apprenticeship Once you’ve completed the formal apprenticeship programme, you’ll continue to receive lots of support at Aon. We would expect you to be promotion ready within 24 months and you will continue to grow your career in the Insurance industry. You will also be able to continue your studies for the CII qualifications. Alongside the interactive development programme we’ve mentioned above, you’ll have the chance to explore different career paths. Once you have completed your 18-month Apprenticeship, your training and development doesn’t stop there, you will continue your professional development taking on more client responsibilities. After completing this initial training period, you will then have the opportunity to work more flexibly, spending at least 3 to 4 days face to face in the Aon office or with clients.
