Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an AP Analyst in Fredonia, Wisconsin. This role is within the manufacturing industry and requires the candidate to work onsite. As an AP Analyst, you will manage the day-to-day operations, reporting directly to the accounting manager. Responsibilities • Accurately processing customer credit applications in a timely manner • Keeping precise records of customer credit • Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise • Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary • Receiving and entering invoices into the computer system after verifying each by matching invoices to the receiving report and with the purchase order price • Tracking all AFE’s by entering each AFE invoice into the computer database and making copies for year end reporting requirements • Assisting in cash application and tracking customer deductions • Executing basic journal entries for the month-end close process • Processing the check payment journal, ensuring that checks are printed and mailed in a timely manner • Maintaining all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. in accordance with departmental housekeeping standards • Complying with all safety and work rules and regulations. Requirements • Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an AP Analyst role or similar position. • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes is mandatory for this role. • Experience in check processing is essential. • Candidates must possess strong data entry skills. • Knowledge and experience in coding invoices are required. • Experience in handling expense vouchers is a must. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
