Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an AP/AR Clerk in Irvine, California. In this role, you will be joining a team in a rapidly evolving industry where multitasking and adaptability are key. You will be primarily working on site, during regular business hours, and will be expected to handle a variety of tasks related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Responsibilities include: • Processing and managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions. • Utilizing SAP, a leading ERP software, to manage financial data and transactions. • Maintaining accurate records of all AP/AR transactions. • Responding to and resolving any customer inquiries related to AP/AR. • Monitoring customer accounts and executing appropriate actions when necessary. • Adapting to a fast-paced work environment and wearing multiple hats when needed. • Collaborating with team members to ensure a positive work culture and environment. • Continuously reviewing and updating AP/AR processes to optimize efficiency. Requirements • Demonstrated work experience as an AP/AR Clerk in a detail-oriented setting. • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures. • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and procedures. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail. • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with various departments.
