As part of Detection and Measurement, Radiodetection is a global leader in the design and development of equipment and software used by utility companies to install, protect, and maintain underground infrastructure networks.  Through precision and magnetic locators and ground penetrating radar, we help prevent damage to infrastructure utilities and protect lives.

 

How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

 

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact.  As the Accounts Payable and Receivable Coordinator, you are processing the payable and receivable accounts as well as assisting with Treasury functions.    The position supports the AP/AR supervisor and processes bi-weekly payroll.  In this position you also provide support to the Finance Controller for all of the Radiodetection sites and employees in the US and Canada.

 

 

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

 

With each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

 

Assist in all activities for the accounts payable/receivable function Assist in completing all month end tasks in accordance with SPX timetable Assist the AR/AP Supervisor Recommend improvements to accounts payable/receivable processes Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices & Rep commission payments Assist with credit control process and collection activities Weekly review of GRNI and Prelim accounts Travel expense approvals Provide support to US Finance Controller Assist with SOX testing Assist with Treasury function Assist with Sales Tax Audit requests Ad hoc requests as required Process bi-weekly payroll

Education / Experience:

High school diploma. 5 years of relevant experience, or a degree in Business, Accounting or Finance fields. Proficiency in MS Office: word, Excel, PowerPoint

Preferred Education / Experience

Bachelor’s degree.
