Job Description
The AP Business Coordinator provides high-quality support and outstanding customer service to all areas of the organization. This role ensures the timely resolution of outstanding AP invoices and manages assigned queues efficiently.
ResponsibilitiesManage assigned queue to ensure timely processing of vendor invoices.Process a high volume of workflows with accuracy.Review vendor invoices for links to purchase orders.Ensure three-way-match reconciliation of purchase order, goods receipt, and invoice is complete.Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.Understand the core business and promote a sense of urgency toward business-critical issues.Follow processes, procedures, and internal controls.Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement.Collaborate with internal and external partners to increase efficiencies in the department.Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.Complete goods receipts.Work with the procurement department.Essential SkillsExperience in accounts payable, accounting, and customer service.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams).SAP/ERP experience.Skilled in three-way matching, purchase orders, and payment processing.Corporate/office experience demonstrating professionalism and reliability.Experience in invoice processing, invoicing, data entry, reconciliation, and clerical tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsCustomer service, accounting, or business support experience.Experience in a professional setting with business hours.Entry-level or recent college graduate preferred.Accounting or finance experience is a plus.A college degree is not mandatory but considered a plus.Positive attitude, energy, and a long-term career mindset.Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities at one time.Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.Strong customer service skills.Work Environment
The work environment is located in Omaha, NE. The team is a mix of different ages and experiences, and members are expected to embrace change with a positive attitude. The position is onsite for the first 90 days, after which a hybrid work schedule with 2 days at home is available. Working hours are any 8-hour shift between 7 am and 6 pm, with most of the team working from 7 am to 3:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch break. The company offers excellent benefits, including weekly pay, 20 days of PTO in the first year, 401k match at 6%, health, dental, and vision insurance, and additional 401k contributions based on company performance. Employees are covered from day one and participate in a wellness program, with the company contributing up to 10% of the salary into the 401k. Employees also benefit from up to $5,250 per year in tuition reimbursement.
