AP Card Services Specialist
Job Title: AP Card Services Specialist
Job Description

The AP Card Services Specialist is responsible for maintaining and administering credit card programs. This includes updating and ensuring the accuracy of employee card profiles, working with third-party vendors, and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. Additionally, the specialist will analyze reports to ensure compliance with corporate policy and work with other department members to troubleshoot problems. Various administrative tasks will also be completed to ensure employee and financial information accuracy.

ResponsibilitiesRun various reports, analyze, and compare differences to ensure accuracy of reports and employee card profiles.Work directly with the field to update and ensure the accuracy of employee card profiles.Handle exceptions by working with third-party vendors.Provide excellent customer service while assisting and training internal and external customers.Provide technical support to assist internal customers with processing and troubleshooting issues.Prepare aging reports for travel and purchasing cards.Review new card applications and manage existing card profiles.Review and approve expense reports based on company corporate policy.Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with partners to increase department efficiencies.Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.Support and participate in collaboration activities to promote and implement continuous process improvement.Provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers and understand core business needs.Perform other job-related tasks as needed or assigned.Essential SkillsAccounts payable and receivable experience.Experience in accounting and expense management.Detail-oriented and analytical skills.Basic to intermediate MS Excel skills.Strong computer skills.Experience with Concur is a plus.Knowledge of compliance, customer service, data entry, finance, reporting, and quality assurance.Additional Skills & QualificationsOpen to new graduates with an accounting background.Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.Quick learner with good customer service skills.Ability to communicate effectively with employees and walk them through submitting expense reports.Experience with SAP preferred.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and recognize discrepancies.Excellent customer service and collaboration skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Highly motivated and self-directed with a sense of urgency.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent analytical and organizational skills.Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize and accomplish work.Ability to lift, sit, stoop, bend, reach, and climb stairs.Ability to read from a computer or laptop monitor for several hours.Associate's degree or comparable work experience preferred.Work Environment

The position is located in La Vista, NE. The team is a mix of age and experience and maintains a good attitude, willing to embrace change with an open mind. The role requires onsite presence for the first 90 days, followed by a hybrid work schedule allowing two days at home. Work hours start between 7-9 AM, typically 7-4 or 7-3:30 with a 30-minute lunch break. Training will be conducted from 8-5 during the first week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
