Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for entering a high volume of invoices and understanding international processing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vendor accounts, researching discrepancies, and collaborating with various departments and vendors across different countries. This role requires a team player with a proactive attitude who is willing to learn and adapt quickly.
ResponsibilitiesManage vendor accountsPerform large volume data entryReconcile statements using Excel (proficient in vlookups)Understand requirements for international/overseas shipments/businessResearch problem invoices with internal departments and vendorsValidate vendor informationGL coding of invoicesHandle receipt of goods and receipt of invoicesExecute month-end closing proceduresOpen and stamp mailManage escheatment processesPerform other duties as requiredEssential Skills1-3 years of Accounts Payable/Accounting experienceExperience and understanding in processing invoices internationally, including required documentation and chargesProficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsPositive attitude with a willingness to learnAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionSuperior attention to detailAdditional Skills & QualificationsBilingual preferredSAP experience preferredAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesOrganized and able to work with others in and outside the department positivelyStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify solutionsWork Environment
This position is based in a professional office setting with an open environment. The department consists of 55 employees. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a hybrid schedule available.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
