Description We are seeking an organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis. Job Responsibilities: + Process invoices, verify accuracy, and match them with purchase orders. + Ensure timely and accurate entry of invoices into the accounting system. + Prepare and process check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments. + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies. + Assist with month-end closing and accruals. + Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records. + Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to address payment inquiries. + Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. Requirements Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred. + 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. + Strong accuracy in data entry. + Excellent organizational and time-management skills. + Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
