Job Title: Accounts Payable Lead Job Description This position requires the employee to enter a high volume of invoices, be extremely detail-oriented, and understand international processing. The role involves researching discrepancies and working with various departments and vendors across multiple countries. The individual will manage vendor accounts, reconcile statements to ensure timely invoice payments, and must be a team player willing to learn. Responsibilities + Manage vendor accounts + Perform large volume data entry + Reconcile statements using Excel (proficient in VLOOKUPs) + Understand requirements for international/overseas shipments/business + Research problem invoices with internal departments and vendors + Validate vendor information + GL coding of invoices + Receipt of goods/receipt of invoice + Execute month-end closing procedures + Open and stamp mail + Handle escheatment + Perform other duties as required Essential Skills + 3-5 years of Accounts Payable/Accounting experience + Accounts payable experience with COGS or within retail industry. + Experience in processing invoices internationally, including required documentation and charges + Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Positive attitude with a willingness to learn + Ability to work as a team player and collaborate with individuals in and outside the department + Organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines + Capability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision + Strong research, problem-solving, and solution identification skills + Superior attention to detail Additional Skills & Qualifications + SAP experience preferred Work Environment This position is set in a professional office environment with an open layout. The department comprises 55 employees. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a hybrid schedule option.
