Description We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist who has a solid knowledge of high-volume invoice processing and hands-on experience with AvidXchange. You will be part of our dynamic finance team in the hospitality industry where you will be responsible for the complete, accurate, and timely processing of invoices. Responsibilities: + Process and reconcile high volumes of invoices accurately. + Utilize AvidXchange in tracking and managing invoicing. + Handle disputes relating to invoice discrepancies. + Maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting control procedures. + Liaise with suppliers on invoice clarification or resolution of disputes. + Review and approve payment requests and expense reports. + Assist the month end close process along with other ad-hoc responsibilities. + Audit and implement improvements on existing A/P processes. Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field. + Proven experience as an AP Specialist, preferably in the Hospitality industry. + Proficiency in AvidXchange and handling high volumes of invoice processing. + Solid understanding of basic accounting and accounts payable principles. + Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel. + Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. + Impeccable attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a knack for numbers. + Superior communication skills to handle vendor relations.
