Salary:  $26 - $32 an hour
Location:  In Office

SUMMARY
Preforms a variety of general administrative accounting functions.  Compiles data and maintains accounting records in accordance with standard procedures.  Works with a team of accountants, accounts payable and payroll specialists.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following, additional duties may be assigned:

This position requires office experience with data entry, calculator/10 key, word processing, and spreadsheet and database programs. Checks and approves all vouchers for payment. Prepares invoice deduction notices, as necessary. Answers all vendor inquiries. Analyzes vendor accounts and negotiates extended terms with vendors when cash is restricted. Receive/distribute invoices for coding and approvals Utilizes three way match to link invoices to purchase orders Prepares accounts payable checks. Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files. Prepares analysis of accounts, as required. Assists in monthly closings. Provides back up support to front desk reception and is responsible for handling multi-line phone system and providing customer service at front desk reception. Must have a driver's license and be able to run errands such as picking up mail from the post office, running deposits to the bank, etc. Ensures compliance with Manson's Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct. Responsible for practicing safe work standards and promoting an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) work environment as a condition of employment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required. Experience with CMIC is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position is primarily an office position, performs work at a desk. The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use stairs, ladders, and step stools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Employee must be able to wear the personal protective equipment (PPE) in order to conduct job site visits (hard hats, personal floatation devices, safety glasses, gloves, safety-toed shoes, respirators, etc.), and able to navigate stairs, ladders and gangways, board, work on and disembark floating vessels and structures.
