Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AP Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor invoice entry, managing the AP mailbox, coordinating with vendors, preparing payment runs and batches, and initiating the AP automation process using AI software for invoice processing. ResponsibilitiesPerform vendor invoice entry (30%).Take ownership of the AP mailbox and coordinate with vendors (30%).Prepare payment runs and batches (30%).Initiate the AP automation process using AI software for invoice processing (10%).Handle additional tasks and corrections as directed by the CFO.Essential SkillsProficiency in accounts payable processes.Strong knowledge of Excel.Experience with 3-way match.Ability to process invoices and payments.ERP experience preferred, but quick learners with tech-savviness are acceptable.Work Environment
The AP Specialist will be part of a department consisting of 6 members, including the AR, A/P Manager, CFO, and Temp FP&A Manager. The work schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start times (7-4, 8:30-5, 9-5:30). The position is onsite in Hackensack. You will be working in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment within the flavor and fragrance industry, providing a strong resume-building opportunity.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
