Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the accounts payable process, including processing invoices, cutting checks, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with various internal departments. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: + Process approximately 50–100 invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. + Prepare, cut, and distribute checks in a timely manner. + Manage incoming checks from the mail for proper documentation and processing. + Communicate and collaborate with the Accounts Receivable (AR) Billing Department to resolve any discrepancies or issues. + Research and resolve any invoicing problems or payment discrepancies. + Perform general administrative tasks, particularly on Wednesdays, as assigned by management. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. + Prior experience with NetSuite is preferred but not required. + Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
