Kforce has a client in Rockville, MD that is seeking an AP Staff Accountant. Responsibilities: * In this role, the AP Staff Accountant maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded * Responsible for portfolio of 20-30 properties * Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger * Prepares complex balance sheets, profit, and loss statements, and other financial reports * The AP Staff Accountant analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses * May supervise and guide lower-level accountants
