Description A dynamic organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP)/Staff Accountant to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable (AP): + Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approval. + Manage timely payment of invoices through checks, ACH, and wire transfers. + Reconcile vendor accounts and follow up on discrepancies. + Maintain organized records of all AP transactions and prepare reports as required. Staff Accountant: + Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations. + Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP. + Support the preparation of schedules for audits and tax filings. + Collaborate with senior accounting staff on special projects and process improvements. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. + Minimum of 2–3 years of combined experience in accounts payable and general accounting. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). + Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask. + Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles. + Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
