Apartment Leasing Agent
Job Information: Full time, contact-to-permanent opportunity Location: Chatham, NJ Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Starting pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
Apartment Leasing Agent Responsibilities: Show properties to potential tenants, process rental applications, and handle lease agreements. Ensure timely rent collection, manage late payments, and address any payment issues. Address tenant complaints, resolve disputes, and maintain positive tenant relationships. Oversee the move-in and move-out processes, including property inspections and condition reports. Prepare and manage lease agreements, renewals, and legal documentation.
Apartment Leasing Agent Requirements: Must possess high school diploma or equivalent. At least 3 years of previous experience in property management is preferred, but entry level can apply as well. Company will train candidates who are interested in getting into property management. Must be outgoing, friendly attitude and ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
