AFFORDABLE HOUSING MAINTENANCE WORKER - FULL TIME - 30 HOURS PER WEEK - MONDAY - FRIDAY
Do you have housekeeping experience? This important Maintenance Worker role offers a variety of tasks including ensuring our 24-unit Affordable Living Community, the surrounding grounds and equipment are accurately maintained. Other daily tasks include responding to work order requests and maintaining a safe environment for staff, residents and visitors. Schedule of 30 hours per week, Hourly Wage $18.00 per hour.
This position is eligible for benefits, effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment. This role does have on-call weekend and holiday emergency on-call hours.

_________________________________________________________________________________Assists in the general maintenance and housekeeping at assigned campus/property.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure building, grounds and equipment are accurately maintained for the safety and convenience of persons served. Provide recommendation to improve quality of services provided.Respond to and repair items indicated on work order requests with minimal assistance.Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repair on equipment and plumbing; document and update schedule as necessary.Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as advised.Perform internal housekeeping and external grounds keeping functions, including lawn care and snow removal.Prepare and clean vacant apartments/rooms.Maintain inventory of supplies and submit order to supervisor. _________________________________________________________________________________
Job Qualifications
Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification
High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferredExperience
One year general maintenance experience preferredAdditional Work Requirements
May be required to participate in "on-call" availabilityMay be required to work extended hours, weekends and eveningsValid unrestricted driver's license, good driving record, and valid automobile insuranceAffordable Living requires use of personal automobile for business purposes
