APG Mechanic (F16, F22, F18, F35 preferred) Location: Greenville, SC (29607) Job ID: #70532 Pay Range: $33-38 Open only to: US Citizens & US Persons APG Mechanic (F16, F22, F18, F35) experience preferred The Company - Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies. Final Assembly and Check out Aircraft Mechanic-Performs a variety of mechanical duties involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations. System checkouts, major system installs, and Wing installs on F-16 Aircraft. The FACO Production APG, F-16 Technician will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include: • Landing gear • Powerplants • Flight controls • Rigging • Aircraft movement. ~Candidates should have previous experience as crew chiefs, plane captains, and or A&P with solid aircraft maintenance experience ~Coming in to support Final Assembly surge, possibility to extend assignment ~Secured work area- No cellphones are allowed into the work Hangar Available to work 1st or 2nd shift • 1st- 6a-4:30p • 2nd- 4:30p-3a REQUIREMENTS Required & Preferred • Required- Minimum of 4 solid years of Aircraft Crew Chief/Mechanic experience prefer 6+ • Required - Ability to Read Engineering Drawings • Required - Ability to read Blueprints • Preferred - Experience with Fighter Jets F16, F18, F22, F35 is NOT required • Required - Pass drug test and criminal background check Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.
