Job Title: Apheresis Manager

Job Description

The Apheresis Manager will oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the Apheresis nurses and will be responsible for performing all duties related to the efficient, safe, and compliant collection of stem cell products. This role requires working collaboratively as a member of the team and in alignment with the values of the organization, performing HPC, Apheresis and MNC, Apheresis collections.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure staff compliance with all standard operating procedures and policies.Hire and train new staff members.Supervise staff during shifts.Manage employee days off and re-arrange department schedules to cover any potential gaps of service.Verify daily assignments in the apheresis center.Provide an orientation and training process for all Apheresis staff.Respond to patients' complaints or concerns.Train and coach nursing staff.Perform all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and applicable regulations.Assure quality customer service to all customers.Perform all duties related to the collection and handling of stem cell products (e.g., phlebotomy, load, set-up, tear down, packaging, and daily quality control).Communicate all pertinent information effectively and timely. 100% onsite in Apheresis Lab in Boca Raton, FL. Shift: 8:30am-5pm OR 8am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday).
