API 653/CWI - Montgomery, AL Pharma Project thru late 2025 Job Details Job Location Pharma project - Montgomery, AL Position Type Part Time Description Applied Technical Services, LLC (“ATS” or the “Company”) is a leading provider of critical testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services. Summary: ATS is adding an API 653/CWI inspector for a long-term project expected to run until late 2025. API-653 portion starts ASAP and requires 8-12 visits, 3 days every other week. CWI portion scheduled to start after API portion is completed on or about Nov 4, 2024 and will transition to 6-10's every week with hotel and per diem at 7 days/week. MUST HAVE BOTH API-653 and CWI certs. Candidates local to Montgomery/south-central Alabama preferred. Qualifications Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: + Must hold a current API 653 AND CWI certifications. + Must have at least 3-5 years experience in API/CWI related work. + Experience with bore-scope ID pipe inspections for weld roots inside small bore piping a huge plus. + Hygenic piping experience a huge plus. + Candidate must be willing and very able to work at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and at lab, manufacturing and industrial sites. + Candidate must be willing to relocate, work odd hours, work overtime, work varying hours and a varying schedule. + Must be local or willing to relocate. All applicants require the following: + Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures. + Excellent communication skills written and verbal. + Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. + “U.S. Persons” Only: A requirement of this position is access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”). Work Conditions: + Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection. + Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc. + Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc. + Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments. + Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc. + Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time + Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
