About the RoleIn this role as an API Product Manager, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of our outstanding API products.

You will closely collaborate with internal teams to prepare the product for launch and ongoing support of APIs. Moreover, you will coordinate and facilitate customer-focused working groups, providing crucial assistance throughout their development process, from testing to deployment.

Your daily tasks will include managing pilot activities, assisting existing and potential customers, and developing communication strategies to promote awareness and usage of our APIs.

You will also collaborate with relevant teams to create customer documentation such as guides, informational sheets, frequently asked questions, and testing plans.

Key responsibilitiesWork closely with team members across the organisation to ensure product launch readinessPlan and run working groups with customers to support them through their journey of development, to pilot and to liveManage pilot activities and provide support to existing and prospective customersCreate and maintain customer feedback loops to build a product roadmap for the futureCollaborate with relevant team members to develop customer documentation, including materials for onboarding, factsheets, frequently asked questions, and testing plans.Collaborate with internal risk partners to ensure the products are within Swift's risk appetite

What will make you successful?

We are seeking professionals with the following qualifications:Proven experience in product management, preferably in Fin TechStrong technical skills and understanding of API technologies including API contracts, OAS standards, and industry practicesExcellent communication and collaboration skills covering technical and business topicsExcellent ability to effectively solve problemsExperience in developing customer-facing sales and marketing materials and technical documentationExperienced in technology and can roll-up their sleeves as neededKnowledge of ISO20022 message standards and financial domain (payments / trade / securities / other) is a big plusPreferred qualificationsFormal education in a relevant fieldKnowledge of Agile methodologiesProduct management certification or a related area of expertise
