We are seeking a full-time API QUPA Ultrasonic Technician for a position in Houston, TX. Required duties are associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code.\n

Essential Qualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nMust possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills\nPost-offer drug\/alcohol screen and physical evaluation\nQUPA PAUT certification\nProven experience in PAUT inspections\nStrong technical skills and problem-solving abilities\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\n\n

Functional Requirements:\n

Read and sign off on JSA, Operates overhead crane from a cab, Receives verbal communication from employees where location of crane is needed to move materials throughout accessible areas, Stays awake, alert and is aware of surroundings, Uses hand levers to control functions of the crane, Performs daily inspection of the crane, Reports any unsatisfactory findings to the Foreman, Reads and interprets load charts, Understands hand signals for communicating with employees in the work area, Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times, Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction\n
