Position Highlights

About the Opportunity:

Dependable schedule – three 12-hour shifts per week.Our 9 locations are open 8am – 8pm (closed on 4 recognized holidays).All locations are within 1 hour of Pinehurst, NC.Epic EMR.Imaging and diagnostic testing on-site.Perform all urgent care procedures.Well-coordinated process with system EDs for transfer of acute care needs.Strong partnership between physicians and advanced practice providers.Be a member of the FirstHealth Physician Group, a team of 450+ hospital-employed providers.Comprehensive compensation and benefits package:Base salary up to $155kQuarterly productivity incentiveMileage reimbursementAnnual Time OffPaid Parental LeaveFree fitness center membershipHealth, life, and disability coverage options3 retirement savings plans – 401a, 403b with match, 457bCME allowance plus reimbursement for NC license and DEAProvider wellbeing resourcesPaid malpractice with tail coverage501(c)(3) status provides eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF)

Qualifications PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification.A minimum of 2 years of experience treating all ages in an urgent care/Emergency Medicine setting is required, 3+ years of experience is highly desired.Must be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision making.Clean background, unrestricted NC PA/NP license, NC DEA, AHA BLS certification, and DOT certification required.
