About the Role
\n \n \nCandidate will be responsible for developing software solutions to meet the client’s expectations and specifications outlined in the requirements. They will provide advanced technical expertise and mentoring to the development team and the broader HSP organization and provide input into designs and technology solutions to facilitate decision-making and mitigate development and implementation risks.
\n \n \nThe applicant will understand the system development life cycle; waterfall and agile software project management approaches; and requirements, design, and test techniques.

Responsibilities
\n \n \nDesign, develop, implement, test, and maintain complex database-oriented business applications using common languages, standards, and frameworks.
\n \n \nParticipates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
\n \n \nParticipates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
\n \n \nUnderstands various software architecture and their implementation methods.
\n \n \nIdentifies gaps in system/requirements software development model.
\n \n \nCreates technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
\n \n \nMaintain existing programs and ensure that developed business processes meet policy and functional needs.
\n \n \nAnalyzes code to find causes of errors and revises programs as needed.
\n \n \nParticipates in code reviews.
\n \n \nGood knowledge of code management and version control, data management and data manipulation.
\n \n \nUses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
\n \n \nShould be able to handle performance optimization tasks (Ex – Indexing, Partitioning, Parallelization)
\n \n \nExperience with Reporting tools (ex. - Crystal Reports and SQL Reporting Services)
\n \n\n\n \nShould have excellent communication (verbal/written) and problem-solving skills.
\n \n \nWorks under minimal supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
\n \n \nActs as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
\n \n \nMust be a self-starter that enjoys working in a collaborative team focused environment.
\n \n \nAbility to multi-task, prioritize conflicting demands.

Technical Skillset

\n \n \nC# .NET
\n \n \nExcellent working knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server versions 2012, 2014, 2016, 2019

Preferred Qualifications
\n \n \nRequires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing .NET and SQL Server to develop, test, and implement enhancements to complex database-oriented programs.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $ 96,250 -$125,000
