The APP will be part of the multidisciplinary team caring for critically ill patients within the LHMC Burlington, Beverly Hospital and Winchester Hospital ICUs. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): + Daily rounds + Management of critical illnesses + Common bedside procedures + Ventilator management + ICU admissions + Critical care consults + Bed flow management. The critical care APP will also be part of the LHMC Medical Emergency Team and respond to all emergencies called within LHMC. Independent critical thinking and patient care management is at the forefront of the APP role. This role will include rotational day, night and weekend responsibilities across the three hospitals. Applicants should be motivated, confident, compassionate, and patient-focused. Prior experience and a strong interest in critical care medicine is strongly preferred. Organization, flexibility, adaptability, and strong time management skills are highly desirable.
