Job DescriptionCintas is seeking an Apparel Technical Designer. Responsibilities include interpreting and executing design vision; developing, managing and creating patterns and tech packages for required product types utilizing Gerber software systems (YuniquePLM, AccuMark); managing and approving fit development; conducting fittings; problem solving issues related to fit and quality; managing workflow to meet calendar timelines; and working independently and coopearatively with cross-functional teams, along with vendors and factories.
Skills/QualificationsRequired
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or Certification in Patternmaking/Apparel Manufacturing In-depth knowledge of patternmaking, specific to male and female apparel, with strong attention to detail Proficiency in the development of tech packages Ability to lead fit sessions using live model/body form to assess fit, garment construction, proportion and overall styling of garments Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Proven experience with Gerber software (YuniquePLM, WebPDM, AccuMark) Experience with Adobe Acrobat & Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet
