This position requires expertise in laws, regulations, decisions, and case law. The duties of the Appellate Division’s Managing Attorney will include the supervision of the Central Office Appellate Staff, independent staff attorneys housed in satellite Appellate Offices throughout the State of Georgia, and all private practice attorneys whom the program has assigned appellate cases through GPDC. This position will supervise and be responsible for conducting all training for appellate practice within GPDC. The Appellate Manager will work at the pleasure of the Executive Director.
