Join the Worldwide Channel Interactive Technology team, which oversees a comprehensive suite of systems and tools that facilitate world-class experiences for Apple customers around the globe. As an Apple Vision Pro Demo Engineer, your primary responsibilities will involve building and deploying new demo experiences to a wide install base of Apple Vision Pro demo devices around the world. Additionally, you will be responsible for deep technical expertise of Apple Vision Pro, visionOS and the Apple ecosystem to provide technical support for a wide variety of use cases, including support of Apple Executive Briefing Centers and special events. Your well developed relationships with cross-functional engineering teams will allow you to create and deliver innovative spatial computing experiences for our customers at an unprecedented scale. This team plays a critical role in the Apple Vision Pro demo experience across multiple routes to market for many C-Suite level demos. This position requires an individual who can strategize setup and maintain a scripting framework, is able to navigate the ambiguity of prototype hardware and software and has the ability collaborate closely with cross functional engineering organizations.
**Description**
In this role, you will: - Build VisionOS and macOS demo content images to be deployed to a wide install base around the world - Create scripts to load content, specific settings and apps in multiple languages across multiple demo devices - Design engineering strategies taking into account new demo experiences and scalability Implementation of new technologies and features onto the latest demo devices - Set up the Apple Vision Pro content infrastructure - Collaborate with other engineers, product owners, and designers to identify and solve challenging problems - Support the testing and deployment of new features while maintaining a strong focus on the customer experience - Be the technical expert at on-site events or during bespoke demo experiences - Configure hardware and software at scale to provide best-in-class demo experience - Maintain surprise-and-delight for our customers, working in confidential environments, as we launch new Apple products, software, and services for the world
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
+ Scripting experience with Python
+ Experience with macOS, iOS, watchOS, tvOS, VisionOS and Apple hardware
+ Experience with Unix-based systems and their command-line tools
+ Very detailed oriented, with strong organizational skills
+ Version Control: Knowledge of GitHub
+ Enthusiastic about learning and teaching
+ Demonstrated history of experience in networking and/or technical troubleshooting
+ Outstanding problem solving skills, including an ability to solve complex technical challenges

+ Experience in having maintained equipment in large labs
+ Comfortable testing network hardware and running network specific testing
+ Evangelize software engineering best practices and lead by example
+ Experience working with AR/VR headsets
+ Working in a worldwide organization- deploying technologies and working on change management across multiple different geos
+ Prior experience working in a retail store environment

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $205,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
