We are currently seeking a full-time Service Specialist to join our team at the Marvin Home Center. The Marvin Home Center is located in Warroad, MN and offers building materials and home improvement supplies; including various brands of appliances. We provide warranty and repair work for most major appliances.
Highlights of your role Delivery and installation of appliances for customers, to include providing basic operation instructionsAttachment of duct work, water lines and wiring connectionsTroubleshoot appliances needing repair, order parts and install when neededTest repaired appliances prior to leaving the customer's home to ensure repairs are satisfactoryMaintain record keeping on service calls/repairsPrepare and submit for credit invoices required by the vendor/manufacturer for warranty repairs You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) Can provide excellent service to every customer through honesty, trust and helpfulnessHave a professional attitude and courtesy engaging customers, vendors and fellow associatesCan listen to the customer and provide helpful solutions or recommendations to their questionsPossess the ability to be empathetic to customer's concerns regarding breakdown of appliancesAre experienced with the use of hand and power tools and testing equipment in diagnosing repairsCan provide quality workmanship by leaving the appliances clean and the area you are working in clean Also want to make sure you have Class C Driver's license with a good record and a health cardStanding and/or walking for up to 8 hours a dayPerforming repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motionsLifting and carrying up to 75 poundsBending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and turningClimbing stairs and/or ladders and working in elevated areas We invite you to See Yourself at MarvinFrom people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
