Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a permanent role on a 7/7, Drive in / Drive out roster, based at Coppabella and significant travel to our Villages will be required with a Company vehicle provided whilst on roster.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance in our Villages in a professional, technically sound, safe, and timely manner. Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, equipment and appliances. Inspect electrical systems, testing and diagnose malfunctioning components and breakdowns, using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes and correct Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers carrying out works under warranties and guarantees Take part in the out of hours response team supporting the Villages 24/7, 365 days per yearTo be successful, you will have:
Trade Qualification – Electrical Mechanic Licence / Open Electrical Licence/Electrical Fitter Licence Open Cablers Licence and current First Aid CPR/LVR ticket Minimum 5 years’ experience of similar work, preferably in the Service/Hospitality industry Experience in commercial cooking equipment installation, repairs and maintenance Experience in the installation and maintenance of Electric and Gas hot water systems Manual drivers’ licence, Class C with the flexibility to travel across the Bowen Basin Data and Network installation experience (desirable) Working at Heights Ticket (desirable) Working in Confined space permit (desirable) Exceptional communication skills Proof of working rights within AustraliaWhat Civeo Can Offer You:
