JOB SUMMARY

Provides data governance implementation and technical configuration services, focusing on metadata management, data quality, and business glossary maintenance through Ataccama. Partner with business and technical stakeholders to implement governance frameworks, develop metrics, and drive data quality improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

\n\nConfigure and maintain Ataccama platform including workflows, business glossary, and data quality rules, metadata model configurations, plan development and more\nPartner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and governance workflows.\nDevelop and maintain data governance dashboards and metrics to monitor program effectiveness, data quality scores, and metadata completeness. Create visualizations that effectively communicate governance status to executive stakeholders.\nImplement and monitor data quality rules, validation checks, and control frameworks. Examine and validate data quality metrics to ensure reliability and integrity of governed data assets.\nDocument technical configurations, metadata standards, and governance workflows including data classifications, business terms, stewardship assignments, and escalation paths\nPartner with business and technical stewards to implement governance best practices\nAnalyze governance metrics and data quality trends to evaluate program effectiveness and drive improvements. Make recommendations for process optimization and control enhancement.\n\n

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

\n\nBachelor's degree in relatable field \nProficiency in Ataccama's ONE platform or other similar data governance tools such as Alation, Informatica, Talend, Collibra, Atlan or OvalEdge.\nExperience in data profiling techniques.\nExcellence in data governance concepts including metadata management, data quality, business glossary maintenance, and data classification.\nDeep understanding of data structures, data modeling, and data architecture principles\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills\nAbility to translate business requirements into technical governance solutions\nExperience implementing governance workflows and controls in regulated environments\nDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both business and technical teams.\n\n

SALARY

\n

The salary range for this position is $31.73/hour ($65,998/year) for those with entry-level qualifications up to $54.90/hour ($114,192/year) for those highly experienced. The specific rate will depend on upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience.
