APPLICATION ANALYST
PSYCHIATRIC INST OF WASHINGTON
Responsibilities The Application Analyst serves as a clinical liaison between the Corporate IS Department and PIW. The Application Analyst performs duties associated with the implementation, support, and maintenance for all aspects of the clinical information system. Performs basic computer and computer peripherals troubleshooting skills. Handles problem tracking, resolution, enhancement requests, active participation in system testing, workflow redesign, and change management. The Application Analyst provides ongoing Cerner education to facility employees and physicians. Qualifications Associate's Degree (Bachelor's degree preferred). Advanced working knowledge of clinical information systems (Cerner). Three to five years of experience preferred. Understanding of clinical workflow and operational processes within a nurse unit/dept. or interdepartmentally with clinical knowledge. Ability to collaborate with clinicians to discern software specifications, hardware requirements, and process improvement workflows. Must be comfortable and confident interacting with physicians and clinicians at all levels. Additional skills: general IT knowledge that includes basic troubleshooting skills of computers, laptops, networks, and peripherals (printers, microphones, scanners, etc.). Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite required. English proficiency with excellent written/verbal communication skills and good presentation skills.
