Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and customers throughout the sales process by adapting ABB’s products with customer applications to meet their requirements/specifications. Each day, you will select optimized products and technology for adaptation, prepare relevant documentation, and serve as a key technical resource for the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities by proactively prospecting, networking.The work model for the role is: #hibridThis role is contributing to the electrification business in Lima, Perú.You will be mainly accountable for:•Offers technical advice and provides comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Specialists with regard to Power Protection products/ systems/applications•Supports the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers. Leads the market intelligence analysis.•Provides technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations. Manages all technical, aspects of the bid — including product management and if necessary, risk reviews• Offers product/solution/service-related training to ABB employees and channel partners and coordinate with the factories. Performs lost proposal analysis, identifies potential cause, and recommends future actions in cooperation with factories to obtain better future resultsOur team dynamics (Optional)You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

You are immersed in product Management of Power Protection/Critical power equipment or similar, including pricing management, Product Lifecycle Management in the Peruvian market.Ability to demonstrate your experience in Power Protection/Critical power equipment with knowledge of power/energy supply systems such as GenSet, batteries.You have more than 5 years of experience as a application engineer or similar roles, offering lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, and pricing.Possess an enhanced knowledge and excellent presentation skills of technical products and solutions (written and spoken).You are captivated by excellent attention to detail, ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, collaborative and solution-focused approach.Bachelor degree in Power Electronics, Electric Engineering, Electronic engineering (power systems) or related.You are fluent in English and Spanish, both oral and written (must).
