Application Architect AWS Cloud
**CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect AWS Cloud position for our client in Denver, CO.** **Location:** Denver, CO **Duration:** 6 months **Duties:** + Lead the design and architecture of cloud-based applications on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to align technical execution with business objectives. + Drive the implementation of best practices in cloud architecture, including microservices, containerization, and serverless computing. + Ensure the delivery of high-quality, production-ready AI and cloud solutions. + Identify and remove technical impediments, fostering a collaborative and efficient development environment. + Manage dependencies between cross-functional teams, including paired programming teams, to ensure seamless integration and delivery. + Maintain and enforce technical standards for cloud infrastructure, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable. **Skills:** + Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, and Kubernetes. + Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and paired programming. + Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. + Knowledge of security best practices for cloud applications, including identity and access management (IAM) and compliance standards. + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-based applications. **Experience:** + 7+ years in technical product management, with a focus on data science, engineering, and cloud solutions. + Experience supporting paired programming and collaborative development environments. + Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and technical dependencies. + Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI and cloud solutions in a production environment. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70/hr to $80/hr. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
