Kforce's client in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Application Developer. Summary: The Application Developer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing database-driven web applications. These applications are built using a mix of technologies, including MS SQL, custom workflow engines, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, CSS, and C#. Roles and Responsibilities: Web Application Development: * Code, test, and maintain web applications * Modify and improve existing applications using SQL, custom workflow engines, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, C#, and .NET Database Design & Development: * Enhance and design relational databases with proficiency in T-SQL * Create and manage stored procedures, views, user-defined functions, triggers, and tables API Development: * Develop and/or support service-oriented APIs Bug Resolution: * Troubleshoot issues and resolve bugs or failures in applications Collaboration & Communication: * Adhere to SDLC policies, using tools like JIRA and Bitbucket * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and deliver effective solutions * Translate business requirements into technical specifications and production-ready solutions Training & Development: * Participate in staff training and cross-training activities
