Job Title: Application Developer KeenLogic is seeking an Application Developer to join our team at the NYC Department of Social Services. The ACCESS HRA Provider Portal is a tool utilized by Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) supporting clients in DSS programs. Initially designed for SNAP and Cash Assistance programs, the portal's functionality is expanding to encompass additional DSS programs, informed by CBO feedback. This initiative aims to enhance ACCESS HRA's features to better support CBO users, improving client benefit retention, timeliness, response rates, and overall user experience. This is a full-time position offering Fortune 500-level benefits, PTO, 401k, and Life Insurance, and monthly reimbursement for travel. Candidates must be willing to provide on-site support at the DSS location in Brooklyn or other designated DSS sites within the five boroughs of New York City. This will be a two-year contract with the possibility of extension, pending confirmation. *Applicants must be authorized to work in the US* Required Skills: + 4+ years of experience in PL/SQL development, including packages, triggers, and SQL statements in Oracle 12c. + Proven expertise in performance tuning of SQL and PL/SQL code. + 4+ years of experience with XML processing, object-oriented programming, and large data objects. + Demonstrated knowledge of data structures, database manipulation, programming, and system implementation. + Strong background in technical and user documentation as well as software conversion processes. Tasks & Duties: Develop System Design: + + Prepare design documents meeting system and security requirements. + Develop specifications for databases, communication systems, hardware, network, security, and software configurations. + Create structured diagrams detailing database and system specifications. Develop System Documentation: + + Draft operational and installation procedures for system components. + Create guidelines for database, network, and security support operations. + Document configurations for systems, networks, and software. Perform System Coding: + + Develop program code using .NET and Low Code Application Platforms (LCAP). + Provide programming support as needed for other ITS projects. + Test and maintain program code to ensure compliance with functional requirements.
