Job Title: Application Developer
KeenLogic is seeking an Application Developer to join our team at the NYC Department of Social Services.
The Critical Infrastructure Support Initiative focuses on designing, installing, customizing, testing, and implementing enhancements to the Agency's Network and Data Center infrastructure. These updates are vital to maintaining the efficient functionality of the network, including its security controls—such as switches, firewalls, IDS, IPS, and proxy servers—and the security components of the Data Center, remote sites, and external entities like OTI and NYS.
This is a full-time position offering Fortune 500-level benefits, PTO, 401k, and Life Insurance, and monthly reimbursement for travel. Candidates must be willing to provide on-site support at the DSS location in Brooklyn or other designated DSS sites within the five boroughs of New York City. This will be a two-year contract with the possibility of extension, pending confirmation.

Required Skills:
+ 4+ years of experience with development, support, and administration of contact centers such as Nice InContact CXone, Genesys, or similar platforms.
+ 4+ years of experience in PL/SQL development, including packages, triggers, and SQL statements in Oracle 12c.
+ Proven expertise in performance tuning and optimization of SQL and PL/SQL code.
+ 4+ years of experience working with XML processing and object-oriented programming with large objects.
+ Proficient in data structures, database manipulation, design, programming, testing, and implementation.
+ Strong experience in technical and user documentation, as well as software conversion processes.
Tasks & Duties:
+ Develop System Design:
+ Design call flows, call routing solutions, automated scripts, test scenarios, and process evaluations.
+ Develop structured functional diagrams for database specifications, client-server communication systems, and CTI screen pop integrations.
+ Create specifications for databases, communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage, and software configurations.
+ Conduct technical and requirement gap analysis for new or existing modules/applications.
+ Contribute to functional design and technical detail development.
+ Develop System Documentation:
+ Draft operational and installation procedures for communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage, and software.
+ Create guidelines for supporting databases, hardware systems, operating systems, network systems, security, and client-server systems.
+ Develop and maintain documentation for database, server, computer, security, and network configurations.
+ Perform System Coding:
+ Create program code in a .NET environment.
+ Build and deploy applications using web-based tools and IVRS Telephony build tools.
+ Develop and support caller telephone interface applications consuming web services to display real-time client information.
+ Design reports, audit trails, logs, and security mechanisms.
+ Collaborate with ITS staff, including managers, senior programmers, and product managers, for program code implementation, enhancements, and changes.
+ Provide general programming assistance and coordinate with support teams during business-as-usual and critical phases.
+ Test and maintain program code to ensure all functional requirements are met.
