ABOUT THE JOB: Misumi USA is the local subsidiary of a large Japanese manufacturer and distributor.  Our application development team has an opening for a full-stack developer who will be responsible for designing, configuring, developing, testing, and supporting applications.  Working with a growing IT team, this position offers the opportunity to work semi-autonomously, train on languages and methodologies and grow your portfolio in a fast-paced environment.  We offer a competitive salary and generous benefits.  This position is in Schaumburg, Illinois and we offer a hybrid work schedule.  Your responsibilities will include: + Participating in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including definition, design, implementation, testing, delivery, and support + Creating overall solution design to meet business requirements + Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software modifications + Developing and executing unit test and integration test scenarios + Participating in working closely with other developers through the implementation + Analyzing business data + Supporting production defects WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:   + Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline + 3+ years of experience in full-stack development + Strong background in Object-Oriented Programming and Design, software implementation best practices, and applying design patterns + Strong background in developing with the Microsoft .NET framework and its related products. + Experience in JavaScript frameworks is required, demonstrated experience with React, Next.js. + Experience with Amazon EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, CloudFront, API Gateway, and Elastic Beanstalk for building scalable, secure, and highly available web solutions. + Knowledge of tools like CloudWatch, IAM, WAF, Cognito, and ELB is a plus. + Experience with CI/CD pipelines and CloudFormation for infrastructure management is a plus. + Experience in integrating systems, applications, and data sources using APIs, web services (REST), and middleware tools. Experience with integration platforms like AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda), IBM Sterling, and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange). Proficient in handling data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and protocols (HTTP, FTP). Strong troubleshooting, optimization, and data consistency skills. Familiar with both cloud and on-premises integrations. + Experience and knowledge in developing and maintaining applications, microservices, and APIs, writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. + Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is a plus. + Adept at analyzing complex issues, breaking them down into manageable components, and developing effective solutions. Proficient in identifying root causes, evaluating potential solutions, and implementing strategies that improve system performance, reduce downtime, and enhance overall user experience. + Able to quickly adapt to new challenges, prioritize tasks efficiently, and approach problems with a logical and systematic mindset. Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 This is the lowest to highest rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
