You Are:
As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application code. You will collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
The opportunity:
· Hybrid:In office/remote
· As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible, but not limited to:
o Development, and implementation and support of integrations using OIC
o Follow best practices and deliver quality code
o Expected to perform independently working with the WMS Business Architects.
o Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
o Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
o Ensure the successful delivery of projects within the defined timelines.
o Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project.
o Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
o Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
o Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
o Coordinate with functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
o Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
o Assist in the testing and quality assurance of applications.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
· 3+ years of experience in the following areas:
o Oracle Integration Cloud Service (ICS)
o Web services, RESTful APIs, and XML/JSON.
o Webservices from OIC
o Designing and implementing integration solutions.
o Oracle Database and SQL.
o Architecture requirements like FTP/DB/file handling/email notifications etc.
o Integration concepts and patterns.
o SOA understanding is a plus
