Job Description:Job Overview:
As a part-time application developer, you will collaborate closely with our software development team to help build and refine an engaging and educational augmented reality app in Unity Engine targeted for children. Working on-site at the UF campus, your role will be crucial in ensuring the project's success as we strive to deliver a high-quality digital tool in a timely manner. This role requires proficiency in the Unity game engine, C# programming, and mobile app development, as well as familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. Additional experience with iOS/Android development, AR/VR, or AI/ML is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain the AR application using Unity Engine and C#. Participate in brainstorming sessions to refine app concepts and features. Test and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and user engagement. Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines and milestones. Provide regular updates and support to keep the project timeline on track.About the Department

Expected Salary:$25.00 hourly
Minimum Requirements: Highly knowledgeable and experienced in Unity Engine and C#. Experience in mobile app or game development. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment. A background in AR/VR development, design, and/or 3D modeling is a significant plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with iOS (Swift) or Android (Java) application development. Experience with AR/VR development. Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and frameworks. Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or SQL. Experience with design and collaboration tools such as Figma and Miro.
