Your Key Responsibilities Product Design and Development of Cylindrical roller bearing Interpret customer requirement, carry out design calculation using basic engineering tools, spread sheets, Schaeffler proprietary software tools, design guidelines and convert them into specification Conceptualize, create, optimize product and manufacturing drawings in 2D/3D using the latest CREO software. Create material master, BOM in PLM software Wind-Chill. Participate in product development process and lead a specific new product development project Regularly  visit  suppliers  for  optimizing  design parameters, manufacturability  issues  with cross functional team of new product development or VA/VE projects. Occasionally visit customer for understanding and resolving product related customer complaints Your Qualifications

· Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (5 years Experience )or     

    Diploma in Mechanical(8 years Experience) in Product design and development.

· Proficient in engineering design program (Creo)

· Basis Knowledge of ERP (SAP) and PLM (Windchill)
· Experience with the manufacturing process.

· Knowledge of DFMEA, GD&T and APQP.

· Basic knowledge of the Bearing industry.
