The Manager, Application Development role will interact with stakeholders in cross functional meetings and participate in developing program plans, reporting, dashboards and driving process improvement across several departments. This job entails development of Real Estate database applications to assist with reporting and streamlining ongoing processes, as well as application creation, revisions, and updates. This position is also responsible for managing a day-to-day communication with a 3rd party company, Basics Group, for continual maintenance and overall system improvements of CVS standards. This role will identify and strategize enhancement opportunities with CVS standards to promote user growth and streamline processes for new fixture and planned POG initiatives.
**Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:**
**Strategy Planning - 20%**
1. Identify development opportunities within CVS standards to promote user growth and cross functional collaboration such as:
+ District Leader Ordering Platform
+ Architecture and Engineering As Built Storage Database
+ Marketing Asset Database
2. Create field facing materials in partnership with Marketing from lessons learned to assist with the installation of décor for new format initiatives.
3. Analyze opportunities with the elevation and plan review process to enhance field level execution and explore strategies that remove time and cost from the overall process.
**Tactical Project Execution - 60%**
1. Lead the ongoing development, execution and management of store elevations.
2. Manage RISD Graphic Plan Review inbox.
+ Includes reviewing 500+ enterprise locations annually, verifying AOR (architect of record) drawings for accuracy requesting revisions as required.
+ Direct, manage and coordinate with third party architects and materials suppliers.
3. Collaborate with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers during active projects to triage issues observed and to ensure seamless implementation of design intent.
4. Provide on-site construction over site noting execution trends with Project Managers to seek means of improving execution in future projects.
5. Partner with procurement to review and approve new fixture specifications as well as participate in RFP pricing exercises.
6. Track and maintain accuracy of supplier uploads within CVS standards to ensure accurate documentation is available for all elements within Pegasus. This includes: Photos, Install Documents and Engineering Documents
7. Build and develop project trackers and distribute on an ongoing basis.
**Ad-Hoc Analytics - 20%**
1. Support reporting and analysis for deep dive/follow up questions related to the current state of CVS standards, Cosmetic Portal, and Pegasus.
2. Adapt current reporting to inform strategies to predict inventory needs, in addition to identifying décor V/E opportunities as needed.
+ Atypical/Exceptional report.
3. Translate data into meaningful insights and actions to uncover total store growth opportunities.
**Education:** Required Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
**Prior Relevant Work Experience** **:** required 3-5 yrs, preferred 5-8 yrs
**Essential Qualifications and Functions** **:**
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge / skill / ability:

+ **Travel requirements** – up to 25% travel expected.

+ PC based software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite.
Ability to:
+ Deliver high quality professional communications, presentations, responses and analyses on a wide range of requests by working quickly, independently and with minimal direction.
+ Develop and manage the CVSstandards.com website which will serve as the central communications hub/repository for store design and fixture elements.
+ Develop/Maintain/Update the CVSstandards.com database, uploading, reviewing, and releasing fixture/display/sign/elements as needed. Manage the third-party software development company, The Basics Group.
+ Communicate with project teams internally to ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
+ Work collaboratively with and influence internal departments within; Procurement, Marketing, A&E, filed based Construction.
+ Travel to store locations, complete store walks, and verify all pertinent store location information; recommend store updates and revisions.
+ Work closely with and oversee outside suppliers to make system improvements based on colleague and outside user feedback.
+ Collaborate with merchandise and construction crew to assist with the punch list and project closeout process.
+ Implement and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to drive project progress and mitigate risks.
+ Examine project progress, identifying and resolving issues, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
+ Direct, manage and coordinate with third party Architects and materials suppliers.
+ Reflect on customer feedback and seek ways to improve on design to enhance our customer journey.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 8+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment.
+ 8+ years of strong project management experience with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ 8+ years of project coordination and/or executive administrative experience.
+ Advanced degree.
**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
