Job Summary:
If you have some background in Inside Sales management and Project quotations, Emerson has an exciting role for you! The Application Engineer will provide consultative technical support & application assistance to our Local Business Partners, Sales Teams and customers throughout Australia and New Zealand to maximize technical sales competence. They will ensure technical and commercial responses are accurate and meet customer deadlines. They will deliver coaching and training to stakeholders to bring them up to the required technical competence levels required.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Work closely with business managers (for PRV/IND/NG), LBPs to achieve the financial targets. Receive requests for quotations, prepare proposals, and submit the quotations back to the LBP/Customer Ensure one day turnaround on quotation request and ensure 100% accuracy Seek agreement with LBP/Customer on technical details Follow up on quotations sent to the LBP/Customer Work with business managers (for PRV/IND/NG) for guidance on pricing, negotiations, and other specific details Receive purchase orders, screen the order for technical and commercial feasibility Ensure 12 hours turnaround for order screening upon receipt of purchase orders Cross check with the Interco factories and Order Admin to meet the customer delivery request date Build good working relations with LBPs Support the achievement of Profit and Loss Goals Prepare reporting package in a timely and accurate manner Provide management support on all ad-hoc reports and analysis

You actively seek guidance from relevant sources to learn and upskill yourself
For This Role, You Will Need:
Degree in Mechanical,Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of relevant technical experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, water, water treatment, power/or related process industriesPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Knowledge of pressure relief valves or regulators Prior experience in Inside Sales or product pricing will be an advantage Strong communication skills in English – both written and verbalOur Offer To You:
