The Application Engineer provides project coordination, functional expertise, and contributes to improvements and enhancements for mission-critical, enterprise-wide information systems.

The Application Engineer is responsible for project tracking and control for assigned modules or systems, serving as a liaison between functional and technical resources to manage the development of new system functionality, upgrades, system modifications, and day-to-day problem analysis, issue tracking, and resolution. This is a techno-functional role, being able to contribute to technical development but primarily have functional expertise. Contribute to solution architecture and design on Oracle EBS (R12.2) and Oracle cloud applications, securing and refining requirements, writing functional/technical specifications, use cases, testing of applications and providing post-production support. Be able to effectively communicate with both Business and IT Stakeholders at the overall and detail level as necessary. Analyze Industry and market trends and utilize best practices to provide optimal solutions to business requirements.

What You Will Be Doing:

Designs and develops software solutions to meet business requirements

Manages full software development life cycle including testing, implementation, and auditing. Performs solution design, bug verification, and beta support, which may require research and analysis

Execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications

Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion, and participate in software upgrades, revisions, fixes and patches as mandated by the vendor

Design, develop and document specifications throughout the project life cycle

Guide developers on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems, review work of development teams.

Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions

Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience

Represents the level at which career may stabilize for many years or even until retirement

Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes

Defines team operating standards and ensures essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own discipline

What We Are Looking For:

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience implementing and supporting General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Oracle Projects, and Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA) modules in Oracle R12 and designing Enterprise Architecture solutions or a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience implementing and supporting General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Oracle Projects, and Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA) modules in Oracle R12 and designing Enterprise Architecture solutions

This position requires experience in Oracle R12 and in specifically in Oracle Financials (AP/AR/GL) utilizing Oracle application Framework, SQL, PLSQL, XML Publisher, Forms, and Reports

Work Arrangement:

Fully In Office: Monday-Friday

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:$99,100.00 - $169,400.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
