The Specialized Application Engineer will provide high level technical and commercial support as a key member of the Masoneilan (Control) Valves Application Engineering team. This includes support for specialized control valve technical selection and proposal generation. This position requires strong foundation of technical and commercial skills and will develop knowledge of control valve applications and industries. This person collaboratively works with relevant stakeholders and communicate effectively to the customers/channel partners.
 

As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:
 

Handling NAM channel partners by collaboratively working with various factories engineering, quality, sourcing, product management team to realize optimized customer solutions.Actively coordinating with global SAE’s to support channels by finding the solutions and developing strategies to meet customer expectations within stipulated time frame.Scheduling discussions with sales and channels in weekly basis/case to case basis to understand the workflows in detail and make a strategy to provide solution.Supporting channels by sharing the insights, experience & solutions and develop them to minimize the L1 requests.Meeting channel’s expectation by identifying the priorities with appropriate time management.Cultivating opportunities to optimize work process and collaboration with external COE’s & regional AE teams.Supporting Global SAE WF’s, consistent design approach for technical product level (L1, L2, & L3) & risk reviewSupporting Technical Risk Review process CAP39 and coordinate with sourcing & manufacturing execution teams.Following Baker Hughes’ compulsory unyielding compliance and ethical behavior.Sharing ideas in control valve technology and manufacturing process.Connecting industrial best practices with SAE teams with, engineering, product management, sourcing to develop solution.Developing the skills and self-motivates with speed, customer focused, proactive thinking & technical expertise among SAE’s, and broader cross functional teams.Discussing complex product selection / queries with team lead before concluding a selection or before responding to Channels.Developing application engineering culture focused on optimizing the balance between technical excellence and commercial viability of Baker Hughes valve solutions.Maintaining suitable selection with competitive control valve technology and application engineering philosophies.Meeting channels in case of any discussions and be part of strategic meetings.

To be successful in this role you will:
 

Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.Possess a Minimum 2+ years of experience in Masoneilan or Control valve Industry.Have previous experience in engineering / commercial applications
